A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently a full-time nanny for 4-year-old twins and have been with them for about 3 years. They are moving out of the city soon so I am looking for a new full time position along with some occasional babysitting jobs. I'm a childcare provider with a passion for fostering children's growth and development. I'm patient, calm, and always ready to bring out the creativity in children.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember! As many young girls do, I was partially responsible for my siblings from time to time along with irregular babysitting for various local families. However, I also provided community care as a camp counselor through various organizations in my adolescence. I started to care for children professionally during my college years. I first began working in gym daycares and transitioned to more regular positions shortly after.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking kids to the park. Whether we are playing tag, building sand towers, or testing every slide; I look forward to going to the park almost as much as the child. I adore walks and often convince the magna-tiled obsessed children I care for now to leave the house and go for a nice walk (often involving bird-watching and/or chalk breaks). When we get to spend time inside my favorite thing to do with them is read a story or do a craft depending on our moods. If we need a calm moment, I jump into a book. If we are feeling creative and active, I can’t wait to pull out the art supplies and manufacture our masterpieces together!

is being a safe and trusted person for both parent and child. I am so very passionate about creating an environment where a family can depend on me for care, comfort, and consideration of their needs. I am honored to be part of the village.

The most important part about being a nanny...

would be impossible to choose! I love when a kid laughs so much with me that they accidentally get the hiccups or when they ask so sweetly to have you reread the same book you have already read 3 times in a row. I love when a child shows me a drawing they made for me or tries to tell me about their dreams from the last night. There are so many perfect and sweet moments to choose from, I couldn’t possibly pick just one.
