A little bit about me

Hi! My names Kendall. I’m 20 years old and from Boise Idaho. I moved to Utah about a year and a half ago to attend the University of Utah I just switched my kinesiology major to business. I am CPR and first aid certified and have my CNA certification in Idaho. I was an athlete all through high school where I ran track and field. This restricted me from getting a traditional after school job so I nannied all through high school on the weekends and the days I didn’t have practice. Since I’ve been in Utah I’ve worked as a waitress but want to pursue nannying again because i so deeply miss the bond I had with my last family and the time I spent with the kids. I would describe myself an easy going person and very bubbly. I am very patient and silly and not easily angered.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I use to work at a hospital in idaho where I primarily worked in the Pediatric unit and also worked closely with the Ronald Mcdonald foundation.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe the development of fine motor skills are very important. I love doing DIY crafts and painting or drawing. I’m also a very active individual. I love spending time outside and playing games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is simply being engaged and present and not letting technology do you job for you. What I mean by this is not just handing the child or children you care for a device or putting them in front of a tv all the time. Being a nanny can be challenging at times and exhausting but neglecting a child is never okay.

My experience with special needs children...

I have never Nannied for a child with special needs however one of my best friends has autism as well as VATER syndrome so I am very familiar with the responsibilities that are required to care for a child who may require more needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment would be getting a call right after I moved away for college from the last family i nannied for and their daughter just wanted to talk because she missed me and I wanted to tell me about her first day of first grade

Emma C. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Emma C.

Hi, I'm Emma!
I recently moved to SLC! I love spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun, and caring environment where they can learn, play, and thrive. I have lots of little ones in my family, so I've been caring for children from an early age and am comfortable with infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids. My mom is going into her 19th year of teaching elementary, so I've been around to help in the classroom for as long as I can remember! I began babysitting in 9th grade and gained experience working with a babysitting company in Phoenix, Arizona about 4 years ago, totaling in about 8 years of paid childcare.
I'm patient, dependable, and creative. I enjoy arts and crafts and educational, engaging activities. I'm CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and am happy to help with light meal prep, housekeeping, carpooling, and pets. My goal is to make your child feel happy and supported while giving you peace of mind.
I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family!
