I have several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I worked at a summer camp for five years, including three years as the Director of Early Care, where I helped supervise younger campers and plan activities. I have also worked in a YMCA after-school program supporting children with homework, games, and daily routines. In addition, I have experience providing ABA therapy, where I supported children in developing communication, behavioral, and life skills. I have also worked as a substitute teacher in elementary schools, which has given me experience managing classrooms and working with children of different ages and needs.

I have meaningful experience working with children with special needs, particularly children with autism. I have a family member with autism, which has given me personal insight and understanding into the importance of patience, structure, and supportive communication. Professionally, I have worked with children with autism while providing ABA therapy, where I supported the development of communication, behavioral, and daily living skills through structured strategies and positive reinforcement. I have also worked with students with autism while substituting in elementary school classrooms, helping support their learning, routines, and social interactions throughout the school day.
