Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked in private homes and in a day care setting including, Imagination Station in Zeeland. There I was a lead teacher, administrative assistant and interim director. I enjoyed each role but continue to enjoy caring for children and families most. I also have worked in private homes since 1989.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, playing games, going on adventures, enjoying nature and move towards non screen related activities. I also enjoy tutoring and have taught many children how to read.

There are too many to count since I have been taking care of children since 1989. Lately the sweetest moments come when I am in the homes of children I cared for long term and they are now adults and have growing families of their own. It is such a blessing to be part of seeing a child you have loved on for their lifetime become a loving parent themselves & let you in to see how they are doing. I also currently love getting videos of children reading to other children after I taught them how to read. I also love hearing from those who make "Kendell Cookies" because Ms Kendell taught them the best chocolate chip recipe or sugar cookie recipe.
