More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have strong experience working with children through my roles in summer camp settings. In 2023, I worked at a kids’ summer camp with children ages 6–13, where I supported daily activities, encouraged positive interactions, and helped create a fun, safe environment. This past summer, I worked as a facilitator with DPR Summer Camp, co-running a camp with one other leader for children ages 6–10. In that role, I helped plan activities, manage groups, and maintain a supportive and structured atmosphere. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, which allows me to prioritize safety and respond confidently in any situation.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing creative, hands-on activities with kids, like arts and crafts, drawing, and building with blocks or Legos. I also enjoy spending time outside—going to the park, exploring nature, playing games, or even just blowing bubbles together. Reading stories, doing simple learning activities, and using our imaginations with pretend play are some of my favorite ways to connect and have fun with children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, caring relationship with the child and their family. I want kids to feel safe, supported, and loved while they learn and grow. Creating a positive, consistent environment where they can be themselves is at the heart of what I do.
