More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a 5 month old niece that I currently care for 2 x a week. I also have previous history working for a Pediatric Dental office as a pediatric dental assistant. I would care for infants - 18 year olds. I am a magnate for kids, they trust me to brush their teeth at the scary dentist or preform surgery on them. I am certified in CPR and have a active license. I can preform to Infants - elderly adults.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going to the park, reading books, doing homework, learning something different they don't know. Enjoying chore time: Making your bed, getting ready for the day, have a good breakfast before the day starts. Depending on the age group of kids, the list could keep expanding. There is always something to do to educate children in a fun, enjoyable and rewarding way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping the kids safe, getting the kids to and from school and getting their homework done every night, making sure the kids are healthy and clean and getting 3 meals a day. Nap time if needed and play time of course. The most important part is keeping the kids busy and happy! Educating them and pushing them to their best abilities.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a special needs aid in Junior High - Senior year of High School. I enjoyed being around the class of kids I had the opportunity to enjoy. They all have such special talents. I have a soft spot in my heart for special need children!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have only had the opportunity to watch my own niece that is currently 5 month old. She made me an aunt! I didn't know I could love her so much! Being able to care for her through out the day, and watching her change and grow each day as been my favorite thing in the world!
