Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been babysitting for many of my relatives and family ever since I was 13. I have babysat for children ranging from 1 year old all the way to 10 years old. I have more experience with younger children, but I love older kids as well!
During my last senior year semester I worked at an in home daycare. I switched between the babies/infants and the toddler groups every other day. This was a very rewarding experience for me, but kept me very busy because I was taking care of multiple children at once. My favorite thing to do with the children was to take them outside to play when it was warm!
After I graduated I started to volunteer at my hometown Preschool. My mother is a Preschool teacher there, and I asked to help. I go there every day in the mornings during the week days, and it has become something I look forward to in my day!

I love the warmth of the sun, so one of my favorite things to do with children is take them outside to play! I also believe it's a great way for children to learn about the world around them.
When we are not playing outside, I enjoy coloring and crafts with children. Children are so creative, and they never cease to amaze me!
I believe that technology is a good learning outlet when used in the right way, but I also believe that you can have too
much of it. That's why I try to limit TV and technology whenever possible!
Instead, I try to opt for books. Depending on their age, I will read to them, or if they are old enough I love it when they read to me!!

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is being kindhearted. Children need a caring and nurturing environment to grow and thrive. To me, being a nanny means going above and beyond to provide the best care for the child. Caring for a child is a huge responsibility, but is also very rewarding and fun!
