Being outdoors, swimming, going on walks, making crafts, coloring, etc. For the days we have to stay inside I love to come up with fun and interesting things to do such as crafts, games, educational tv shows every now and then, listening to interactive music, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children feel loved and cared for. It’s hard for most kids to have a constant babysitter or nanny from personal experience, so I make sure to get to know the children and slowly build a relationship with them so it feels more like they’re having a friend come over rather than a babysitter. While still teaching and caring for them it is important that they enjoy the time spent with their nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I am not very well educated on the care that goes into special needs children, but I am always open to learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny/childcare moment is definitely just seeing how happy children get when learning something new. While working at the daycare it was more difficult for some children than others to learn new things and we spend much more time on our end to let them learn at their own pace, but as soon as they figured it out the smiles on their faces was so rewarding.
