Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors. Going to the park, library, nature walks, the zoo and taking them to their activities. I love to see them having fun and learning. A smiling happy child is why I love being a nanny!
Although I love the outdoor activities there are so many fun activities to do inside. I love reading, coloring, doing creative projects and playing with legos and creatingp fun adventures. Making fun games to help learn the alphabet and numbers is one of my favorite activities also.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny to me is so special because as a mom I know how hard it is to trust someone you a just getting to know with your child or children. The most important thing is making sure the children are safe above everything! It is also important to be a good role model and help them learn and treat them with kindness and understanding. I also believe having a good relationship with the parents, understanding their rules and what is expected of you.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not had much experience with special needs kids, but I have a brother in law who is special needs who is amazing. I would absolutely love a chance to work with special needs kids. I believe it would be one of the best experiences and would love every minute with the child!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I nannied for six years so there are so many amazing moments. When I started having the girls come to me happy to see me! Going to work and seeing the youngest girl in full winter gear on a summer day ( the mom and me thought she was so cute and funny)! Going to all the girls dance recitals, looked forward to seeing it every year. I feel I am so lucky to have such amazing memories! Even after Agatha decided to work at home I have have been at graduations and the children now amazing grown women remember me. I am also still in contact with mom after many years and hope to continue our friendship.
