One day, I took one of my kiddos on a little adventure—we rode the ferry, explored Governors Island, and spent time at Japan Village. It was such a fun day full of laughs, curiosity, and new experiences. Later that evening, after I dropped him off, his mom called to tell me that he said he had so much fun, that he really loved me, and even added, “She’s so beautiful.” It completely melted my heart. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do.
