Hi, my name is Keyahlah Bean! I am currently a college student studying Communications at Tuskegee University in Alabama. I am home for the time being and looking for babysitting opportunities before returning to school.
A little about me personally—I love working with kids and being in environments where I can be active, creative, and positive. I enjoy dance, music, sports, and anything that allows me to be hands-on and engaged. I also like planning fun activities, helping kids learn new things, and finding creative ways to keep them entertained and learning at the same time.

In these roles, I was responsible for supervising and caring for children, leading structured learning and activity-based programs, supporting early literacy development, encouraging positive behavior, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment at all times. I also gained experience working one-on-one and in group settings, helping children with different needs and learning styles while providing patient guidance and support.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is the impact I have on the children. It is one thing to say I watched and cared for them, but it means so much more when they grow up and remember me positively. I strive to be a memorable and positive role model in each child’s life. My goal is not only to teach lessons and provide care, but also to help guide them in life skills such as kindness, respect, confidence, and communication. Being nurturing, fun, respectful, positive, and patient comes naturally to me, and I aim to instill those same qualities in the children I care for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I babysat for a family member and cared for a 1-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a 7-year-old. They requested a fun night where we went to Burger King, picked up toys and snacks from Walmart, watched movies, and had a dance battle at home. It turned into one of the most fun and memorable nights I’ve had while babysitting. I truly enjoyed spending time with them, keeping them engaged, and creating a fun, positive experience they still remember.
