The youngest I’ve worked with was a one year old boy and I babysat him for a year until he did not need a babysitter anymore. I usually play with the kids, while making sure it’s in a safe way and nobody gets hurt, make sure they eat, and clean up around the house if needed. I’m very patient and understand some kids need more attention than others.

I’ve cared for autistic children, I grew up around autistic kids because my younger sister has autism and 2 of my cousins. I can assure you they’ll be okay on my watch I understand that some require more attention than others. One of the reasons I’ve gained so much patience is because I grew up having to be patient in order to understand them and make them feel safe, heard, etc.
