My experience includes providing full-time childcare, managing daily routines and schedules, creating age-appropriate educational and developmental activities, supporting children’s social-emotional growth, coordinating household responsibilities, and assisting families with errands and activities outside the home. I love incorporating a variety of activities into the day based on each child’s interests, age, and developmental stage. Some of my favorite activities include baking and meal preparation, reading, imaginative and pretend play, walking or hiking on local trails, swimming, singing and dancing, coloring and drawing, playing catch, and practicing sports they enjoy. I also love incorporating developmentally supportive activities such as counting, practicing the ABCs, and learning through play. The most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both the children and their family. A nanny becomes an important part of a household, and I believe that role requires reliability, open communication, consistency, and genuine care. It’s about understanding each child as an individual, supporting their development, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and being proactive about what they and their family need. Ultimately, I believe the best nanny is someone who makes the family’s life easier while creating a meaningful, positive relationship with the children in their care.

I have experience working with children with special needs through my work as a teacher and education professional. In these roles, I supported children with varying developmental, learning, and behavioral needs and learned the importance of adapting my approach to meet each child as an individual. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable providing additional support, structure, and encouragement while helping children feel safe, included, and confident. My experience in education has strengthened my ability to recognize individual needs and create positive, supportive environments where every child can learn and thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments will always be watching the children I care for reach important milestones and grow into their own unique personalities. Whether it’s a baby saying their first words, a toddler becoming more independent, or an older child discovering a new interest, I love being able to witness and support those moments firsthand.
