A little bit about me

I have worked in a care position since I was 17. My first job was with the Boys & Girls Club. My second job was with the YMCA at a school age after school program. I earned my CNA and worked in various facilities from 2014 until 2020. I had an injury that required surgery and I could no longer perform CNA duties. I took my care experience and pivoted back to child care. I worked as a lead staff for teens at the Boys & Girls Club for one year and then accepted a position with the YMCA as a site director. I directed for the Y of Eugene for two years before I moved to the Silverton area. I have been working as a program Leader and coordinator for a local daycare for 2 years.
My strengths are in my ability to form trusting relationships with kids and teaching art. I love to have fun and embrace play based learning 🙂
