A little bit about me

It gives me happiness and a sense of fulfillment, to help build and shape children, by helping them learn and grow. To know I made an impact in their lives. I treat them with love, care, concern, compassion. Just as their parents do, and would want from another individual who is taking care of their child. I never think of a nanny position as a job, but being a part of the family.

I've taken care of children throughout my life. I've helped with my family's and friends' children, and my sister's friend's children. I used to help my sister with the children she was a nanny for; for at least 2-3 years after school or during break.

I worked with all ages from newborn to five year-olds in a church nursery, and Sunday School classes, for at the least 6 years. I worked with children in other church groups & vacation bible school. I worked in a daycare for about a year & a half, in total. I was a nanny for 2 families, that I found through a Nanny Agency, Selective Nanny.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've taken care of children throughout my life. I've helped with my family's and friends' children. And we'll as, my sister's friend's children. Also, I would help my sister with the children she was a nanny for; for at least 2 to 3 years after school or during break. I worked with all ages from newborn to five years old in a church nursery, and Sunday School classes. As well as, other church groups and vacation bible school. I took care of a brother and sister at their home for the summer of 2001 until the end of September 2001. I worked at a daycare for a total of 16 months. I worked primarily with the infants. But, I would help out with the other children as well from time to time. I worked as a nanny for 15 months for a private family. And, another family for 4 months. Both families, I was connected with through a nanny agency.

The most important part is treating a child and their family like you would want to be treated, and how you would want your child to be taken care of. Love, compassion, and much more.

When a little girl I took care of, would take her socks off, and look between each toe, and say, no fuzzies. It was cute, funny, and something I've never seen a kid do and say.:p
