A little bit about me

I'm Kimberlyn, I've been babysitting/nannying since I was in the 9th grade. My mom was an EC teacher and became director of the EC department for the first 13 years of my life so I grew up around kids with special needs and am very confident in working with them. I am fluent in the German language and love teaching everyone around me (friends and family) sayings and other things in German. I love working with kids and being able to be a role model for them and helping them build memories as some of my most fun memories are from when I was younger with my siblings and our baby-sitters.

My mom was an EC teacher and moved on to be the EC department director for the first 13 years of my life so I grew up interacting and being with special needs children. Also, at my most recent nannying job one of the children had special needs so I am very confident in working with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying moments was when I was a nanny to 4 kids ranging in age from 6 to 14 and on one of my last days working with them we had a "nerfwar" in the back yard, went out front and rode bikes and did chalk painting on the driveway. It's one of my favorites because seeing the kids laugh and have a good time made me remember why I love being a nanny.
