More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at an in home childcare for 4 years (started as a nanny and turned into a childcare). I also have 6 younger siblings and have been babysitting since I was 11 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing art projects and activities, especially ones that go with the season. Making homemade playdough is always fun as is going on nature walks. The library, zoo, Public Museum, and Meijer Gardens are great day outings and learning experiences!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Working with the children, their development, and being on the same page with the parents. Whether it's working on challenging them to allow for a greater development or working on the basics so that they are prepared for challenges. I believe open communication with the parents ensures that the child is receiving the best care with and without the parents present.
My experience with special needs children...
My very first babysitting/nanny experience was an infant that had asthma, allergies, cleft lip/palette, acid reflux, and club feet. My youngest sister also has autism, however, she is lower on the spectrum. My daughter and I have dietary restrictions as well (dairy, soy, and gluten).
The most important part about being a nanny...
The first time I took all of my boys to Meijer Gardens to see the Christmas trees and train garden. The look of awe and wonder on their faces as they would look at the different trees and how excited they got to see all of the fun buildings in the train garden.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Rockford, MI: Hailey G.
I am almost 20 years old. I have been caring for children for many years, mostly family members that often asked me to watch their children and help with the house while they were working or running errands. I have experience in every age range, given I also helped with my younger siblings growing up. I also was raised by my grandmother who ran a daycare and taught me everything I know. Growing up, I was always the cousin who eagerly watched kids at family functions, stepping up so parents could spend time with family.
I am not currently CPR certified, though I was in the past, and I am highly interested in getting re-certified. I would love the opportunity to continue working with kids.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Rockford, MI: Skye H.
Hello I am Skye. I have baby sat for plenty of family's sense I was a little girl but due to COVID I have stopped. I have been a nanny in the past for a couple of months during the school year. I am 18 years old and I am about to turn 19 in a couple of days. I have just graduated from high school but I was in nursing classes for two years. I am a certified Nurse Tech and I am CPR certified. I have always been the oldest in my family so I have helped raised my little cousins most of my life. I am also very well with animals, we have a little zoo at my house. I also volunteered at John Ball Zoo from 2018 to 2020. I educated children about the animals at the zoo and I got to hold animals and bugs. My friends would describe me as caring, dedicated and kind because I always put in my best work and try my hardest.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Rockford, MI: Grace K.
Hi I’m Grace!
I’m heading off to my first year of college this fall at CU Boulder in Colorado and graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School. I love kids and volunteer at my church every Sunday to help with a classroom of around 20 kids. I do have a car and I am mobile. I can help with cooking, cleaning, or any other chores around your home too! I have the cover shut, but not the booster. Unfortunately, I’m not up to date with being CPR certified, however I did take a class for it my freshman year of high school.
