A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kimmy, and I’m a college freshman with a strong passion for childcare and 6+ years of hands-on experience. Growing up in a big family with four siblings, my love for working with children started early. I’ve built on that by working at a preschool for two years, caring for children ages 2–6, and spending multiple summers as a camp counselor with children ages 2–9. In addition to preschool and camp experience, I’ve been babysitting kids ages 0–14 for the past six years. Most recently, I nannied full-time for a 6-month-old and a 4-year-old for five months. I’m confident in caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, bottle prep, feeding, and creating engaging, age-appropriate activities. I also provide light household help as needed. My childcare style is rooted in a gentle, respectful approach with consistent boundaries. I believe kids deserve to feel heard and supported in a safe, nurturing environment.
