Hi, my name is Kirsten. Im an outdoorsy, outgoing person, who likes to stay organized and bring a fun, safe environment for the kids around me. I started out working as a camp counselor for ages 5 to 15. Then switched over to nannying for a family until there daughter turned one. Now I work full time at a daycare and am looking for a part time babysitting gig. Im also hoping to go to collage for teaching. I really do just enjoy watching the kids grow up, learn so many new things and being apart of there lives even when it’s tough. I loving being someone I know they can trust and learn from. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started out working as a camp counselor for ages 5-15. I nannied for a family from the time there daughter was 1 month to a year old. Now I work full time at a daycare. I Primarily work with the one year olds but often do find my self in the infant or prek rooms as well. I’m very well rounded in all age groups.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going outside, sports, swimming, arts and crafts, dancing and overall just learning and trying new things. I will say I have made my fair share of crafts as well as had lots of dance party’s and I don’t think I could ever get tired of hide n seek or any games really.

The most important part about being a nanny is the kids. They should feel like there in a happy, safe and trusting environment. I always do my best to provide safety, fun and to make sure they are being heard. I want to make sure they receive the best care i’m able to give.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are honestly when they make any little achievement. Watching there faces light up when they get there first steps or an A in class or just anything that makes them proud of themselves. I’m always just as proud if not more proud then they are. Nothing though prepares you for when they fall or do something dumb and your heart stops for a minute and then they just look up at you like it was nothing. I have a kid at work who likes to fall down the 3 stairs on purpose. Scared me to death but everytime he just giggles and giggles about it.
