A little bit about me

I have a little less than 1 year of experience however I can help with Light Housekeeping and Laundry. I have worked in the Daycare system before as a Toddler Teacher, and as an Afterschool Teacher, I handled a classroom of mixed ages with up to 25 students at a time I managed to clean the school and watch them while still making time to make them smile and interact with them during multiple activities. I currently babysit for one family in the Katy area and I am still actively looking for more, what makes me stand out is that I have my food handlers, a passion for kids, along with over 20 Hours of childcare credits with Texas A&M Agriculture. I have a pretty open schedule as a college student, while I'm currently working on my degree to get my BSN and eventually become a NICU/PICU Nurse. I'm very understanding so hours and wages are always Negotiable. Fun Fact I'm always down to listen to Gracies Corner or watch Ryans's World.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is making sure the parent/s know and feel that their child/ren are safe with me along with having a trusting relationship with the parent/s and child/ren I want to make sure that the children in my care are happy and smiling and having fun with whatever we are doing at the moment.

My experience with special needs children...

As a toddler teacher I had experience with a student who had Willams syndrome and a G-Tube every little accomplishment they made was one of the best things to see.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Was when I received my first hug from the child I was watching, afterwords we watched their favorite Disney movie (I even sang along with the songs) and we ate cotton candy for dessert they later fell asleep on me, knowing a Child/student trusts you is one of the best feelings along with helping them on the little and big accomplishments
