Hi\! My name is Kiyah! I have 9 years of professional childcare and caregiving experience\. I started as a PCA at 16 and have continued building my experience in both childcare and healthcare.

I’m a licensed LPN with 5 years of home and healthcare experience. I previously worked at Allina Health in Family Practice as a pediatric nurse for 2 years before moving into my current healthcare field as a surgical tech. I’ve also completed Early Childhood Education coursework and have current CPR and First Aid certifications\.

Working with children has always been a passion of mine! I love creating fun, stimulating, age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors. I’m adventurous, creative, patient, and love making everyday activities fun while encouraging children’s growth and development\.

The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, trusting, and nurturing environment where a child feels comfortable being themselves. I believe it’s important to be patient, attentive, and genuinely present while also making sure children have fun, learn, and feel supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was during the COVID lockdown, when I cared for a toddler who was learning to walk. I spent time encouraging and practicing with him every day, and eventually got to see their first independent steps! Being able to help them reach such an exciting milestone is something I’ll always remember.
