I worked as a private Montessori nanny for 1+ year to a 15 month old in [phone number hidden]. I've worked in schools on/off from 2015 to present (I have my own business but like to work with children as much as I can for experience): Substitute Toddler teacher at Marin Montessori School, and currently a substitute Preschool teacher at Kamehameha Schools. I've also worked as a babysitter for 2+ years with twin 11 year olds, and a newborn.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Preparing meals and snack from grocery shopping to cooking and cleaning up. Connection with nature: walks, foraging, flower arranging, planting, harvesting. Depending on their age, creating learning activities that help them meet their developmental milestones (ie. fine and gross motor skills). For toddlers, setting up their home so they can engage in their daily routine/chores independently like feeding their pet, getting dressed, preparing snacks, etc.
