A little bit about me

I have always worked with kids! I grew up as a mini mom to my younger siblings, and the go to babysitter for neighbors and family friends. I recently graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders and Deaf Education. I am so happy to have chosen a career that allows me to continue to work with children.
I am about to start a job in an elementary school, but there will be a short period when I won't be working. I am looking for a few weeks of nannying/babysitting before the school year starts!
I try to really engage and have fun with kids. Lots of crafts, time outside, and engaging activities. I also tend to do some light cleaning and am comfortable preparing meals and sticking to established nap times.

I have babysat and nannied for many family friends and relatives. I have recently been working at Utah State's Speech and Language clinic, where I have been able to interact and engage with kids before their speech appointment.

I love going to playgrounds, doing any sort of craft, creating obstacle courses, and working on educational skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have learned so much from the Communications Disorder major. But one of the most important thing is having children engaged especially at a young age. It is so beneficial for parents to be with children, but when they aren't able a loving nanny is just as beneficial. It is someone to foster all of that incredible growth and development during those crucial years.
