Hello My Name is Krista Shelton. I am a single mother of a beautiful 6 year old. I am 31 years old. Recently left my job as a nurse to be more involved in my daughters life. I was tired of missing holidays and weekends with my sweetie. I love children and working with them. Even as a nurse pediatrics was my favorite. My child is my world and I would treat your kids no different. Children bring joy to life, and are amazing how their little minds work and learn. I still have my nursing lic and CPR up to date. I am also a licensed practical nurse. I have worked with pediatrics during clinics. I also choice pediatrics for my precept hours. I have not had the opportunity to get a job in pedis or has a school nurse due to no availability, but was my first choice. I also have kept the nursery at church numerous times.

Oh there are several moments bc I just love how their minds work and they learn so fast. It’s amazing but if I had to pick one. It would be: One of my friend’s kids I have kept in the past drew a picture of their family in pre-K. They drew a pic of me included in their family along with their mom, dad, and sister. This made me feel so special and was the sweetest thing.
