I think that the most important part about being a nanny is experiencing the milestones that each child hits. Along with this, seeing what each child picks up from you is very important.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a special education paraprofessional for three years. This has been my favorite job and influenced me to currently pursue a degree in special education at MTSU. In this classroom I worked with students with autism, down syndrome, and other physical and mental disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Its hard to pick just one favorite nanny moment! I love capturing different photos and videos of the kiddos saying or doing funny things to send to the parents. One time I took my nieces (3 and 7) and my nephew (12) to an exotic pet expo. They got to hold a chameleon and a chinchilla!
