A little bit about me

I have been a stay-at-home Mother for 17 years after having sold medical devices for 16 years in a highly corporate environment. I understand the push and pull of career and family. I am also a recent empty nester who would welcome time with young children and family pets. While our children were young, I loved the time after school for fun and for time with them to work one-on-one on homework and debrief after their day. I have always loved having playdates and children gathering at our home. I always volunteered at the elementary school as much as they allowed. I thoroughly enjoy seeing young children grow and learn via social interactions, sports, music, or whatever their developing hobbies happen to be at the moment. I have had a wonderful time with our family and have found that adaptability is the key to managing our home, children, in-laws' homes, and multiple dogs, some with health issues. I have been first aid/CPR certified, but I need to update here in NC.
