I have several years of experience caring for young children, specifically those aged 9 and under. I have taken care of my cousins and my nephew for extended periods, ranging from 5-8 hours to overnight stays of up to 24 hours. During these babysitting sessions, I make sure that the children are well-fed, have the opportunity to take naps and engage in quality, interactive playtime. In addition, I am familiar with treating common issues such as diaper rashes and eczema.
I am also proactive about gathering information on any allergies the children may have, as well as how to appropriately address and manage them. I am also trained in first aid and CPR for infants and adults. I believe that having a comprehensive understanding of the children's health needs is crucial for providing safe and attentive care.

The most important part about being a nanny is bonding, gaining their trust, creativity, patience, and of course, keeping the kids safe. Making sure the kids trust you is a very important asset in babysitting.

I have not yet had the opportunity to care for a child with special needs, but it is something I hope to do in the future. I am eager to build a strong bond with them and gain valuable insights from the experience. One of the best memories I have as a nanny is when my nephew was feeling down. To cheer him up, I put on some lively music and started dancing with him. Not only did it bring a smile to his face, but it also got him excited about dancing. It was so wonderful to see him focus on being happy instead of feeling sad.
