I have volunteered at the College I went to in Sanford. They had 2 weeks where various ages of children would come for summer camp. I would provide them with snacks, doing activities any many more things to keep them happy and occupied.

My experience with special needs children...
My sister is on the autism spectrum. She is in her 20's and cannot do much for herself as an adult could do. She needs to be with someone the entirety of the day to help take care of her. I am usually the one responsible to take care of her.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was babysitting one of my moms, work friends grandchildren. I was helping them learn how to swim, and how to jump off the porch into the pool (safely of course!!!). It was so fun. We would go into the pool at least once a week!
