More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have nearly three years of experience working as a behavior technician, where I’ve supported children in reaching their individual goals and building independence through tailored strategies and positive reinforcement. Prior to that, I gained experience working in various daycare settings, caring for groups of children of different ages and developmental stages. Additionally, I have spent many years babysitting for a wide range of children with diverse needs and personalities. These experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of child development, behavior management, and creating nurturing, engaging, and safe environments for children to learn and grow.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m a mostly child-led behavior technician, so I’m open to any activity that is safe, reasonable, and sparks the child’s curiosity and interest. If a child wants to explore, I’m all in! I enjoy a wide variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors, including tabletop games, arts and crafts, imaginative play, sports, and even getting messy playing in the mud. My goal is always to engage children in ways that are fun, creative, and supportive of their learning and exploration.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting, and nurturing relationship with the child. Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment allows children to explore, learn, and grow confidently. It's about meeting their individual needs—whether emotional, social, or developmental—while fostering independence, providing guidance, and ensuring they feel valued and understood. A strong connection built on patience, consistency, and genuine care makes all the difference in supporting a child’s overall well-being and growth.
My experience with special needs children...
I have personal and professional experience supporting special needs children. I have two little ones in my immediate family with diverse needs, which has given me hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the challenges and strengths of every child. Additionally, I’ve worked as a behavior technician for almost three years, focusing on supporting children with a variety of needs and helping them develop independence and confidence through individualized strategies. This combination of personal and professional experience has shaped my compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to caregiving and support.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I don’t have just one favorite moment because every moment—even the challenging ones—is special in its own way. However, if I had to choose, it would be the joy of watching children learn something new and seeing their pride when they realize they can do it on their own. Those moments of growth and confidence are truly rewarding and a reminder of why I love doing what I do.
