I was a nanny for a lil boy and girl for 2 years back in my hometown of Petersburg tx. I also was a substitute teacher at Petersburg elementary school for about 3 months for first grade.

Well what i like to do with my children are color and build with blocks and go out side for a walk and play with chalk. Read and listen to music. Watch movies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Always make sure the baby or kids are safe and taken care of. That they're well fed and always in my sight. And most importantly that they are happy.
My experience with special needs children...
My nephew is autistic he is 10 years old. I've been around all his life and have watched him in my care as well. He's very quiet but LOVES to read and do puzzles he like comics more than anything and loves taco bell! Lol!
The most important part about being a nanny...
when I was caring for one of the kids in Petersburg, his name is Alex and he always called me "kriddle", but he hadn't seen me all summer and I come back and he was so excited and said "kriddle! I've missed you for years!" It had only been a couple months lol
