I have a genuine love for working with children, shaped by raising three of my own and spending years caring for kids in both professional and personal settings. With my older two grown and my youngest becoming more independent, I’ve realized how much I miss the early years and the hands-on nurturing that comes naturally to me.

My dental background gave me the chance to work closely with children and help them feel safe and confident in an environment that can easily overwhelm them. Guiding kids through cleanings and watching them become comfortable—even excited to return—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

For over a year and a half, I’ve also cared for children in the City of Allen playroom, where I’ve been able to watch kids learn, grow, and develop. Supporting their progress, offering comfort, and creating a positive, stable environment is something I truly enjoy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in activities that help them learn, stay curious, and feel confident. Reading with kids is one of my favorite things to do—whether it’s story time with little ones or helping older kids build stronger reading skills. I enjoy making books come to life and using stories to spark imagination and conversation.

I’m also big on arts and crafts. I love setting up simple, hands-on projects that let kids create, explore colors, and express themselves. From painting and drawing to holiday crafts and DIY projects, I enjoy watching kids get excited about making something of their own.

Beyond that, I enjoy playing games, doing puzzles, building with blocks, helping with homework, and getting outside whenever possible. Whether we’re at the park, taking a walk, or playing outdoor games, I like keeping kids active and engaged in ways that fit their age and interests.
