The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is the safety of the child. In my experience people tend to take their eyes off the kid until its too late now theres a pizza in the oven at 600 degrees and a bunch of shocked faces. I love to always make sure everything is safe and sound when sitting then take a brisk break.
My experience with special needs children...
I have an autistic little brother who needed a lot of extra care in my time of being around. I am able to asses when he would be overstimulated or stimming a lot more than usual and overall helped him feel more safe and comfortable in his environments.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment of being a nanny is when I was sitting for my aunt and my cousins were all watching Shrek for the first time. I did my best donkey impressions and lit their faces up til this day they remind me of how funny that was and reminds me of why I love doing it!
