Hi! I am Kylea Kay, i am 18 years old! i have been a CNA/Caregiver for 2 1/2 years as well as a Med Tech. I have my CPR/BLS certification as well as professional training for the Heimlich maneuver for all ages. I taught in a daycare from newborn-preschool ages and got certifications in Child Development from the local college. I recently just graduated highschool and a medical scholar program at Weber State University in Utah. i also just moved back to Florida and am looking for a family to nanny for! I love caring for other people! it’s a big place in where i find my joy. i love children, i have cared for children for 2 years in total from newborn and older. i am super funny, fun, caring, generous, bubbly, positive, a problem solver, good communicator, patient and attentive and very flexible with my time and schedule! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Back in Utah when i was there i nannied for a year for 3 children ages ranging from 3-13. i also cared for a little girl for a year and half from newborn to over a year!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am easily flexible and a great problem solver and did many classes through a local college on child development and even taught in a daycare from newborn-preschool ages. i have many fun sensory DIY activities we can do that include sand boxes, finger painting, craft making, and so much more fun things. i like to take kids outside and go for walks, go to the park, run in the sprinklers in the summer and do anything the parents are comfortable with me taking the kids to do!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think you need to be very attentive and be able to pay attention to the little things with kids. You have to make sure they aren’t putting little things in their mouth that could be dangerous, you have to give them your attention and care and make sure they are fully taken care of while you are the one watching them. I think communicating with the parents as well is a huge part of being a Nanny! Being able to problem solve and be flexible and easy going is also a huge part of taking care of kids because not everything always goes as planned.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I took a little girl i nannied for to the park near her house for the first time and put her in the swing and she would scream laugh and smile and kick her feet and get SO EXCITED it was adorable and i never forget it. Another family i nannied for had a farm and field behind their house so i’d take the kids outside to play while i helped with yard work and we played many games outside and hide and seek and they loved coming to find me! it was so fun!
