A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kyleigh and I'm excited to connect with families looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy nanny or babysitter. I have previous experience as a substitute teacher, which gave me the opportunity to work with children of different ages and support them in both learning and everyday routines.

I currently work in law enforcement, so I have a thorough background check and understand the importance of safety, responsibility, and creating a secure environment for children. I'm also an online Criminal Justice student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to incorporate fun, hands-on learning activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity.

In addition to my professional experience, I've cared for multiple children over the years, primarily for family members while they were at work or enjoying a night out. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, whether we're playing games, reading, doing crafts, or whatever else they’d like!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I substituted previously, so I have experience with caring and supervising children alone, which is a big responsibility!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with children and creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. I enjoy planning creative activities such as arts and crafts, reading stories, playing games, doing outdoor adventures, and encouraging imaginative play. I also enjoy helping with homework, teaching new skills, and supporting children's emotional and social development through patience, kindness, and positive encouragement. Seeing children build confidence, explore their interests, and have fun while learning is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment for the children in your care. A nanny does more than supervise daily activities; we help children learn, grow, and build confidence through patience, kindness, and encouragement. By establishing trust with both the children and their parents, a nanny becomes a reliable role model who supports healthy development, teaches positive values, and provides consistent care. Strong communication, responsibility, and genuine compassion are essential qualities that help a nanny make a lasting positive impact on a child's life.
