The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is remembering that what you do matters. Even if the children you are taking care of don't remember your name ten years down the road, they're going to remember how you made them feel, what you did together, and the impact you made on them, big or small. My goal as a nanny is to shine God's light into kid's lives so that the impact I make on them is directly from Jesus not from me. That way what they remember is His presence in their life through me, and how that made them feel cared for and secure.

I have some experience through Camp Barnabas, but honestly not enough for me to feel comfortable watching a child with special needs.
