A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a sophomore at Texas A&M and have always had a love for caring for children! I have two younger siblings; my sister is 12, and my brother is 4. I’ve been babysitting my siblings for as long as I remember, as well as family friends kids. I started picking up more and more babysitting jobs as I got older. This past summer I became a part-time nanny to three kids and would travel with them if need be and do daily activities with them. I live in College Station, but my hometown is the DFW area!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Before I moved to the DFW area, I was involved with a church week-long VBS group every summer. I also helped out my former club soccer coach, coaching kids around 5-6 years old. I also am a big sister to my two siblings, who are 4 and 12.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing all sorts of activities! I’m very adaptable to my environments, and I’m down to do whatever the children want, whether indoors or outdoors.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making the kids feel safe and cared about. My main goal is to make sure the kids feel comfortable around me and know they can open up about troubles, happy moments, and anything else on their minds.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat one of my former high school teachers' son, who has a young boy with Down Syndrome. Along with that, I have also babysat a child with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite nanny moments it’s hard to choose one! One that sticks out is when I was tucking in the girls for bed, and after we read books together, they did their nightly prayer and included me in their prayer!
