Hi! My name is Kylie Morais, and I’m a 20 year old college student at UNCW majoring in Biology on the pre-health track with plans to attend Physician Assistant school!
I have over 5 years of babysitting experience with children ranging from newborns to 13 years old. I’m also an older sister so I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages and love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them. I’m currently looking for a part-time nanny position that I can balance with my college schedule. I have my own reliable transportation, so I’m able to help with activities, errands, and other transportation needs as well as any household tasks that you need.

I also have over 5 years of customer service experience working at an ice cream shop, hostess, and bartender where I’ve developed strong communication and people skills. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids active and entertained! I enjoy playing sports and outdoor games, doing arts and crafts, coloring, baking, playing board games, going to the park, and coming up with fun games to play! I’m always happy to get creative and try new things, whether that means having a craft day, playing outside, or helping with homework, I’ve done it all with my younger siblings or other kids i’ve babysat!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being someone the children can have fun with and trust! I think building a strong relationship with the parents is just as important so they can feel comfortable with who is watching their kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience caring for and spending time with children with special needs through my family and school experiences. My brother has autism, so growing up I learned the importance of patience, understanding, communication, and creating a comfortable environment.
In high school, I was also involved in the Autism Awareness Club, where I had the opportunity to spend time with children with autism and participate in fun activities that have made me comfortable working with children who may have different needs.
