I worked at Lakeshore Little People's Place in Hamilton, MI for 3 years in various positions. I started as a summer school age lead teacher. I had kids aged 5-11 and planned engaging and educational activities and lessons for them daily. Since I am a student, I was seasonal, so I floated around to every room in the building. I spent multiple months in the little tots room (age 9 months to 18 months), and the toddler room (18 months-2 1/2). In my last summer there I was the interim lead preschool teacher. I ran the classroom and created lesson plans following curriculum and a set schedule daily. I have had a couple of nannying gigs and am currently nannying a 2 year old girl who will be going to three-school in December. I have taken care of her in her home while both parents are working from home. I plan educational and engaging activities and art projects. We go on lots of outings and play groups.
