I have cared for children who have autism, children who were non-verbal, children who need wheelchair assistance, and children who are deaf. I have also volunteered at Hope Academy, a special-needs school for autistic children from kindergarten through high school in Greenville, SC. At NC A&T, I have taken courses centered around special education and children with special needs.
