In addition to years of babysitting, I’ve worked as a coach at Elite Cheer Athletics and Northern Star Bounders, teaching tumbling to kids ages 2–18. I also provided trauma-informed care for children at the Family Support Center and mentored adolescents in a therapeutic setting at Monuments Academy. These roles strengthened my ability to connect with children of all ages and needs while balancing fun, safety, and structure.

During my time at the Family Support Center, I worked with children who had experienced trauma or who had emotional and developmental needs. I’m trained in trauma-informed care and de-escalation, which has helped me create a calm and nurturing space for every child, regardless of their background or challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was helping a shy little girl in tumbling class gain the courage to try a new skill. After weeks of practice, she finally did it—and her excitement (and her parents’ pride) reminded me why I love this work so much. Being able to support and celebrate kids as they grow is such a rewarding experience.
