I would have to say safety. This is paramount when caring for anyone of any age,but especially children, and the elderly. It is my responsibility to make sure that I'm careful at all times when caring for children.

I have children in my family that have special needs that I've babysat for. Most on the spectrum that require the patience that I naturally possess.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Unfortunately I find most kinds hilarious. One little boy learned the term " pardon me" . He would say it anytime he wanted to talk or someone was in his way,or took his toy. It made me proud,and tickled me at simultaneously. I was happy that I thought a 4 year old something that would carry him through life.
