More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as an educator in a 9 year long school program in Denver where I held a variety of different roles. I've worked as a camp director, counselor and curriculum developer in a multiple different outdoor education programs. I also worked as a private nanny and ABA behavioral technician

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading, DIY crafts, playing outside at park, going to museum, walks, board games, playing catch. I am open to just about anything

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me is making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Leaving you baby in the care of someone new can bring about so many feelings and worries. When parents and children feel like I am just another member of the family because they feel safe, comfortable and able to be themselves. That what matters to me. Also everyone being on the same page and feeling supported in my role.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked as a ABA behavioral tech with kiddos on the autism spectrum. I've volunteered at a group home with developmentally challenged teenagers. I am also a big sister to a type 1 diabetic little brother and an asthmatic little sister

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love the moments when a child and I have built a bond and their little smiles when I arrive everyday. The adjustment/ intro period can be tough for everyone but it always feels so good when a child no longer cries for their parents and is excited for my arrival and they know we are going to have a great day.
