The most important part about being a nanny to me is the relationships. I want children to feel safe, loved, and genuinely excited when I walk through the door each day. There is something so special about being a consistent, positive person in a child’s life and getting to watch them grow, learn new things, and become more confident in who they are.

One of my favorite moments actually wasn’t as a nanny, but as a teacher. I had taken a two-day mini vacation, and when I came back, the kids thought I had been sick and had made me a “Get Well, Miss Nae Nae” card. When I opened it and saw all of their little drawings and sweet messages, it completely melted my heart. It’s moments like those that remind me just how special it is to build meaningful relationships with children.
