A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Lara! I am 27 and originally from Boston, MA. I will be starting a Curriculum and Instruction Ph.D. program in the fall, where I will be working to further contribute to the K-12 world. I have a plethora of experience working with children from infants to teenagers, at home, and in educational settings (after-school programs and summer camps). I believe children are intelligent beings who need a caregiver who will expand their creativity. Therefore, it is essential for me to expose children to different cultures and new information. I also keep them engaged by playing games, doing puzzles, art projects, anything to keep their minds active! Overall, I enjoy taking care of a house and those in it! I will gladly cook meals for the family, and I am willing to do light housework. I am incredibly patient, and children's safety/well-being comes first.
