A little bit about me

I'm a mother of four. All of my oldest kids are very successful and highly educated. My younger two are very intelligent as well. I love to have fun but i also have mild firm rules. Homework and chores must be done before we have wine down time. I'm every bit of a follow directions and by the rules type of mother so I apply that to my role as nanny or babysitter. Unless the parents of whom I'm nannying/ babysitter says different I will switch up a few things to help the kids transition into a newcomer interning their home. Trusting, feeling safe, along with healthy and respectful upbringing has always been a honorable achievement at the end of the day. To hear the happiness of a child when you return to work the next day is one of the best feelings I've ever encountered even with my own kids.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In [phone number hidden] I was a sitter/ nanny for two young gentlemen. They quickly became my heart's. That was for the Mendez family. From [phone number hidden] I was a community sitter for Friday - Sunday morning for the younger parents because I didn't like to hear about them leaving their kids home or alone to go party.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm very found of creating my own educational games depending on the learning abilities of the children beit the child is a quick study or requires a bit more patience to accommodate a better communication base for that or those particular kid/ kids compression pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me about being a nanny is the feeling I get of knowing the kids trust me they also have love for me and at the end in the beginning of the day they respect me and learn different things about how important it is for their parents to have help. It is also important to me for the kid or kids to understand and know that I am not their parent I can't make decisions their parents do and what their parents say goes no if and buts about it respect your mother and father and you'll have respect for me.

My experience with special needs children...

IV cared for two special needs children my whole life. One was a autistic 13-year-old and the other was a paraplegic 12-year-old. In both cases I was really saddened because I had to leave and I had just got used to being around them because the family moved but I have to take care of them in different ways which also taught me some things but reassured me that my compassion was real. With the 13-year-old autistic child I had to figure out a way to communicate with her and didn't wind up being drawings so she basically taught me how to draw which is awesome and with the other kid he was a paraplegic from the neck down so I basically had to change him feed him and like recreate my ways of understanding my facial communications which is pretty hard but I managed it that was the biggest challenge I've ever had in caring for someone it broke my heart to see the moon and leave but that too had to pass I just hope they're doing great.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my funniest Nanny moments would be LOL our water days fun in the sun time, I literally allowed one of the kids to do my hair how they feel like it should be done and OMG she had everything sticking everywhere her brother had face ticket everywhere in the back and I allowed to pick me up something to swim in okay. You will not believe I told you kissing me but they had jokes for days little Ethan brought me out one of his dad's big big shirts and said my daddy said when you need to relax and kick back and have fun put on one of these type shirts you can do whatever you want and he brought me a picture that look like a Hawaiian bath towel. Emily or her little self says my mom said you should always get things that are a little bit smaller so you can reach your goal and accomplishing losing weight and she brought me out the tiniest swimsuit she had in her own little drawer I was so tickled I laughed so hard I fell backwards in the pool 😂😂
