Hi!
My name is Laura Olazábal, I am 20 years old and I am a senior at Florida International University, I am graduating with a psychology bachelor one year early with honors and I also graduated high school as the top 8% of my school. I have been working with children since I was 13 years old and I absolutely love it. I started by watching over my cousins and kids from my neighborhood. As the years went by, I volunteered to watch over a class of Pre-K at a summer school for a whole summer, I babysat for my mom’s co-worker daughters for almost a year, and I also volunteered at an orphanage this summer. I have experience with children of all ages, and I am confortable with also doing house-cleaning, and meal prep. I am responsible in all aspects of my life, I am very dedicated and a hard worker. I am also very creative and genuinely enjoy making and doing interactive activities with children. Some of my hobbies are cleaning, painting, dancing, and reading.

I enjoy numerous activities but it all depends on age since you always want to make sure you are helping them reach specific milestones. However some examples are, sensory play, learning colors and shapes, drawing, and painting. If I am taking care of an older child I would engage in other activities like board games, building with legos, puzzles, playing with cars or pretend play, and outdoor games like soccer, volleyball, and hide & seek.
