A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Lauren, Ren for short. I'm a 14 year old looking to help families in need. As of recent, my family and I have been tight on money, so to help out I'm trying to find ways to earn extra cash. I've had much experience watching over children, as I live with a 6 year old little brother and used to babysit my 7 year old cousin. I try my hardest to make babysitting as fun as possible, but also safe as possible. I don't do very well with infants, so I'm looking to care for toddlers 4 and up. I do not have a drivers license, but I strive to get one in the future. If your child is homeschooled and needs help, then I'll do my best to help them out with any troubles they are having during school. I'm looking for anyone living in the city of Riverside, CA; though I'll make some exceptions for the following cities: Moreno Valley, Corona, and Redlands. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered watching and helping about 40+ children with their crafts at my church. Most importantly, I have a younger brother and I care for him everyday. I make him food and play with him whenever my parents aren't home. I also used to watch my younger cousin while his mother was at work.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy drawing/coloring, playing with toys and/or board games, playing fun games outside, helping them with their homework, and playing video games (my brother loves playing video games with me.) Note: I'll play video games with kids only if their parents/guardians are okay with it. They are appropriate and fun games, though they may be a bit challenging for kids under the age of 5.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making sure kids have a fun but safe time. I strive to make sure the children I take care of aren't bored, but I also make sure that any of our playtime activities are 100% safe and easy for kids. Taking care of kids may be difficult at times, but it can be very fun and give you lots of experience in babysitting. I'm always willing to help busy parents in need just to make their lives a little easier.
