A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Lauren and I'm 30 years old. I've been working with children since age 12 when I began babysitting my younger cousins. Throughout my teens and young adulthood I've had the privilege of caring for kids ages 3 months-13 years, from a wide range of families and backgrounds. These experiences have been the most fulfilling of my life.

I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a major in Child Development and Family Studies and for 2. 5 years worked in a before and after school care program at an elementary school in Long Beach. I taught Pre-k for one year and have nannied for the past 3 years. I have been changed immensely working with these kiddos and their families! To me there is nothing more rewarding than being able to aid in the development of a child's self-reliance, self-confidence, and to show them love and empathy.

Teaching and helping kids grow is the one thing I've been consistently passionate about and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to still do so.
