More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat for my neighbors, watching their youngest two children since they were newborns. This experience has made me comfortable caring for babies and managing multiple children at once.
This past summer, I cared for a 1-year-old as a nanny, further strengthening my skills with infants and young children.
Finally, I have volunteered as a camp counselor for several summers, working with children aged 5–11.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy spending time outside with children, whether it’s on a swing set, in the pool, drawing with chalk, riding bikes, or taking walks. I also love engaging in creative and hands-on activities, including reading, coloring, building with LEGOs, and other crafts. I’m always excited to participate in activities that help children explore, learn, and have fun.

Watching and caring for children is important to me because it allows me to support families while also building meaningful connections with both the children and their parents. One of my favorite aspects of this work is seeing how children grow, learn, and develop over time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was from this past summer, watching the child I cared for learn new words and develop her personality. I remember the joy of seeing her give kisses for the first time, learn the word “dog,” give high-fives, and even point out both mom and dad in pictures.
