More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a nanny, a date night sitter, an elementary school aide, a camp counselor, and a toddler teacher in a licensed daycare facility.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to read, build blanket forts, do art projects, and snuggle of course! I also believe it is important to get outside. The weather in Portland can be challenging but I love to go on trips to the park, or for a walk (or stroller/wagon ride) around the block. We are also in prime puddle jumping weather and bubbles are good fun year round.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is keeping your babies safe. First and foremost their safety is the number one priority. There are many
other important parts as well. Being loving, kind, fun, dependable, but safety needs to be established first for any other part to be possible.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children of differing needs physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have experience with everything from severe food allergies, to autism, to motor control challenges. I believe in meeting every child where they are at so we can build and safe and happy space to grow at their own pace.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment happens with every little one at some point. I love the moment when I have become one of their people. When they just jump off the couch because they know I will catch them. Or look over to share a laugh when they found something funny. The moment they have no doubt that I am a safe space. It looks a little different with every kid and happens in different time frames. It just happens to be the best feeling in the world every time.

Hello!
My name is Leonidas and I am a first-year nursing student at the University of Portland. I am hoping to work part time around my class schedule, which means mostly mornings, late evenings, and the whole weekend. We can of course discuss this in more detail if you're interested in working with me!
Prior to looking for a job as a nanny, I babysat for my neighbors starting at around 12 or 13. When I got older, I began working for my local YMCA as a swim coach, instructor, and lifeguard- which I did from September of 2021 until July of 2022. I relocated to Portland for school in August, and have been looking for part-time employment since.
I am experienced in working with kiddos and absolutely adore them. My previous employment allowed me to become First Aid and CPR certified, and I have experience working with special needs children both one on one and in group settings. I am a licensed driver of more than a year, but I am not in possession of my own vehicle.
